There is always about water reflection that I find it enchanting and love to photograph them.

The photograph below captures only a small section of Kincaid Park in Alaska, a place that feels vast, untouched, and alive in its silence. I remember standing there in quiet stillness, immersed in the natural beauty surrounding me. Before me was a serene lake, its surface calm and glasslike, mirroring the trees that stood tall along its edge. The sight was tranquil, yet it stirred something deep within me—a moment of reflection, both literal and emotional.
As I gazed at the water, watching the mirrored forms of the trees ripple ever so slightly with the breeze, a profound thought came to me: the lake was not reflecting the trees as they truly are, in the way we might perceive them with our eyes. It wasn’t trying to reproduce their every leaf or line with photographic accuracy. Rather, the lake was offering a fleeting interpretation of reality—one shaped by light, wind, and time. It was not its duty to define the trees or freeze their essence. Instead, it was merely showing them as they were in that single moment, branches gently bending, shadows dancing, and light shifting across the water’s skin.
This realization became a meditation on presence. The reflection was not from a year ago, nor was it an anticipation of ten days from now. It was entirely rooted in the now—pure, present, and transitory. Nature, in its subtle wisdom, was reminding me of a truth I sometimes forget: life is experienced in moments, not in permanence. The lake did not cling to the trees or try to preserve their image. It simply let them be, embracing the changes and movements of the current second.
That moment helped me understand, once again, why I am drawn to photography so deeply. For me, photography is not about freezing time to capture things exactly as they are. It is not a scientific documentation. It is an emotional and spiritual dialogue between the world and the lens, between the subject and the soul. What I love about photography is this very essence—its ability to express life second by second, photograph by photograph, reflection by reflection.
Each image becomes a poem written in light, a visual whisper of the world’s fleeting truths. Just like the lake doesn’t try to control the trees it reflects, I don’t seek to control what the camera sees. I seek to be present with it. To press the shutter at just the right moment when emotion, light, and form align—not to create perfection, but to honor impermanence.
In that quiet spot at Kincaid Park, surrounded by water and woods, I felt that alignment. And in that moment, with my camera in hand and clarity in my heart, I remembered that photography is not just about seeing—it is about feeling. And it is in feeling that I find both contemplation and peace.

“Life is only a Reflections of what we allow ourselves to see”
Our reality is not always shaped by what is, but by what we’re willing—or open enough—to perceive. Just like a still lake mirrors only the sky above and the trees around it, we too reflect back what our minds and hearts are prepared to witness. If we look for beauty, we will see it. If we open ourselves to love, peace, or meaning, those things begin to emerge more vividly around us. Life doesn’t always change; our perception does.
In many ways, the lens of a camera mimics the lens of the soul. It doesn’t just record what’s in front of it—it captures how we choose to see the world. And so, the art of photography becomes more than an act of seeing; it becomes a conscious act of allowing.
When we allow ourselves to see with wonder, we photograph with soul. When we open to mystery, we create space for awe. In the end, life reflects not just light and form, but the inner landscape of our own awareness.

As I stood there, quietly gazing at the trees reflected on the still surface of the water, something stirred within me. The scene was peaceful, yet powerful—nature in its quiet movement, whispering profound truths. In that moment, I realized that what I was witnessing wasn’t just a reflection of trees on a lake. It was life itself making its way through nature, unfolding gently before my eyes. That particular moment, just as it was—the light, the wind, the mood, my breath—was entirely unique. It would never repeat itself in exactly the same way again. Not tomorrow. Not a year from now. Not even in a thousand lifetimes.
This realization filled me with awe and reverence. Life, I understood then, is a series of unrepeatable moments. And the way we live each moment shapes the story of our days. We often chase big dreams, distant goals, and future milestones, forgetting that the most sacred part of our existence is happening right now.
Each moment is not just something to pass through—it’s something to live into. The quality of our lives is not measured by time alone, but by how deeply we are present within it.
Our lives are reflections of the energy we give. If your world feels cold, bring warmth to it. If you long for more love, begin by nurturing love within your own heart. If you want to be met with kindness, let kindness flow first from your own hands. Life is not waiting to surprise us with meaning—it’s waiting for us to participate in its meaning.
What you offer to life—your thoughts, your choices, your spirit—will echo back to you. Often, it will return magnified. Plant seeds of compassion, and you may find forests of grace. Share light, and it will find its way back to you even in your darkest hour.
There are no true coincidences. Each encounter, each experience, each breath holds something of you in it. Your life is not happening to you; it is happening through you. Every reflection you see in the world around you is, in some way, a reflection of who you are becoming.
So live with intention. Love with depth. And remember—each moment is a mirror. What will it reflect?

We must learn to flow with life itself—not resist it, not control every wave, but move with its current, with grace and presence. Life is always moving. Whether we are ready or not, it will continue to unfold, moment by moment, breath by breath. The seasons will change. The days will pass. Our bodies will age, and time will carry us forward like a river carrying leaves downstream.
But amidst this constant movement, certain things endure. Not the possessions we accumulate, not the titles we hold, nor the fleeting achievements that once seemed so important. What remains are the invisible yet powerful imprints we leave behind—our love, our kindness, our compassion. These are the real legacies that outlast time.
The love we give, the warmth we share, and the good we offer to others do not vanish. They become part of something larger than ourselves. A kind word spoken at just the right time, a helping hand extended without expectation, a heart opened to another in their hour of need—these moments ripple outward. They live on in others, sometimes in ways we may never fully understand.
Even after we are gone, the energy of our good deeds continues to echo through the lives we’ve touched. A child who remembers a stranger’s smile, a friend who never forgot the day you truly listened, a community forever changed by a single act of generosity—these are the real gifts we give to the universe. Gifts that cannot be measured in material value, but whose worth is infinite.
To flow with life is to recognize this truth. It is to let go of the need to control outcomes and instead live with intention, love, and integrity. It is to understand that every day we have is a new opportunity to contribute something meaningful—not necessarily something grand or dramatic, but something genuine. A small act of care. A moment of presence. A gesture of empathy.
When we live in this way, we align ourselves with the deeper rhythm of existence. We stop fighting the current and instead become a part of its purpose. We begin to realize that life isn’t about holding on tightly to everything but about embracing the beauty of each passing moment and letting our love flow through it.
In the end, our true legacy is not carved in stone, but etched into the hearts of others. It is found in the kindness we give freely, the compassion we extend without judgment, and the love we nurture within ourselves and offer to the world.
That is our offering. That is our gift to the universe—not what we have, but who we choose to be, and how we choose to live.
So let life flow. And while it does, be the presence that brings light to others. Let your heart be a source of peace, and your actions a testament to the quiet, enduring power of goodness.

Like Reflections, there are fleeting moments in life that will never happen again. We can savour and captures the feeling of how we are in that certain moment,— and being aware that each moment is temporary.
Like reflections shimmering on the surface of still water, there are fleeting moments in life that pass us by in the blink of an eye—never to return in quite the same way again. These moments, often delicate and quiet, hold extraordinary depth. A look, a feeling, a sunset, a conversation, a touch of warmth—each arises once, exists briefly, and then dissolves into memory.
And yet, within their impermanence lies their power.
There is something sacred about realizing that no two moments will ever be exactly alike. Even when the world appears unchanged—the same sky, the same trees, the same familiar faces—we are not the same. Our mood, our awareness, the way our heart receives the world—all of it is shifting, evolving. Life is constantly in motion, and so are we.
This is why presence is such a gift. When we become fully aware of a moment—not rushing to the next, not clinging to the past—we begin to feel it more deeply. We allow ourselves to savor the now, to taste the richness of time as it touches us, breathes through us, and moves on. We don’t capture time to hold it still; we capture the feeling of being alive within it. That feeling becomes a treasure.
Photography, art, storytelling—these are all ways we try to honor those moments. Not to freeze them, but to reflect the beauty of being within them. Like a reflection in water, we know it will change. But for a brief second, we are given the opportunity to witness, to feel, and to remember.
To live with awareness is to accept that each moment is temporary, but meaningful. This awareness doesn’t diminish the value of time—it heightens it. Knowing that nothing lasts forever invites us to cherish what is, rather than mourn what will be lost. It teaches us to hold space for gratitude, even in ordinary hours. It teaches us to see the magic in the fleeting.
Some moments, once gone, will never return in any form. But their imprint remains—in our memory, in our art, in the quiet shaping of who we are. We carry the echo of those moments in our hearts. We are, in many ways, made of them.
So let us live with gentle awareness. Let us pay attention. Let us pause to breathe in the air of this day, to look at the light as it falls across the room, to listen when someone speaks with emotion, to smile when beauty catches us off guard.
Life is not waiting for a perfect moment—it is the moment.
And like reflections dancing on water, these moments may be fleeting, but they are also luminous. Their impermanence is what makes them shine. Their passing is what makes them sacred.
Live fully, love deeply, and notice often.
That is how we honor life—one reflection at a time.

Here is my favourite Poem.
Life’s Mirror (Poem)
There are loyal hearts, there are spirits brave,
There are souls that are pure and true,
Then give to the world the best you have,
And the best shall come back to you.
Give love and to your heart will flow,
A strength in your utmost need;
Have faith and a score of hearts will show
Their faith in your word and deed.
For life is the mirror of king and slave,
’Tis just what you are and do;
Then give to the world the best you have,
And the best will come back to you.

There is something profoundly powerful about looking back—about pausing, even for a moment, to reflect on the journey we’ve walked. In the quiet space of reflection, we begin to see with new eyes. The choices we made, the challenges we endured, the victories we celebrated, and even the moments of doubt or detour—all begin to reveal their deeper meaning.
As we reflect upon our past, we gain not only wisdom but also a renewed sense of purpose and direction. The past is not meant to trap us in regret, but to guide us gently forward. Each chapter we’ve lived through becomes a compass for what truly matters now. We understand more clearly who we are, what we value, and what legacy we want to leave behind.
This clarity becomes even more meaningful when we recognize that our journey is not lived in isolation. Our lives touch others in ways we may not always realize. The stories we carry, the lessons we’ve learned, and the footprints we’ve left along the way—they become silent guides for those who follow us, especially our loved ones. Whether we intend it or not, we are always shaping a path with our actions, words, and values.
When we live with purpose and reflection, we create a living blueprint. Our children, partners, friends, and even strangers may look to the way we’ve faced life’s trials and triumphs and find inspiration for their own journeys. They may draw strength from the way we overcame hardship. They may discover courage in the way we stood for something meaningful. They may find hope in our kindness, resilience in our endurance, and grace in the way we chose love over fear.
Legacy isn’t always grand or loud. Often, it’s made of small, quiet moments: the way we listen, the way we forgive, the way we keep going when it would be easier to give up. These are the things that leave lasting imprints on the hearts of others.
And so, in reflecting on where we’ve been, we don’t just find meaning for ourselves—we also offer meaning to those we love. We light the path ahead not only with our presence but with our example. Our past becomes a living testament to growth, transformation, and human connection.
This is the beauty of living a conscious life. Every step we take, every reflection we make, has the power to ripple outward. By honoring our journey, we create a bridge between our story and the stories of others.
In the end, our footprints are not only traces of where we’ve been, but markers of what we’ve learned and given. Through mindful reflection, we walk with intention. And in doing so, we help others walk with purpose too.
Let your life be the story someone else looks to and says, “Because they walked that path, I now have the courage to walk mine.”

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!”
